Senior Leadership

Mike Hakbaz – Managing Director, Healthcare Solutions & President of ATG

For over 30 years, Mike has been involved in developing policies, procedures, and methodologies to help organizations implement applications that are cost-effective and easy to use.

As a recognized industry leader, Mike has been a frequent speaker at national conventions for groups such as the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE).

He has also written many articles on facility management applications and innovations for publications such as Health Facilities Management and AutoCAD Magazine.

Theodore T. Pappas – Vice President, Facility Services Division

Ted manages the ATG production group, which includes architects, interior architects, and CAD technicians. He is responsible for the overall allocation of resources and project teams.

Since joining ATG in 1997, Ted has been directly involved in the development of solutions used by over 450 healthcare institutions.

With expertise in areas such as CAD, space utilization studies, and field verification, Ted has been instrumental in helping clients improve operational procedures and create strategies to address needs well into the future.

Jay Balapa – Senior Director, IT Platform

Jay manages ATG’s Enterprise Solutions Division—which includes multidisciplinary teams like Software Development, IT Infrastructure, and User Experience—spans 3 global locations.

Since joining ATG in 1999, Jay has collaborated closely with clients and developers to continually enhance ATG’s core software and technologies.

He has delivered multi-platform/multi-tier Enterprise solutions with Apple iOS/Google Android/AutoCAD/ASP.Net front ends, web service middleware and SQL Server Databases to leading healthcare and higher education organizations nationwide.

Ken Mustafa – Regional Director, Healthcare

Ken works with ATG healthcare clients across the country to discover new ways of reducing ever-growing compliance risks through solutions that address pre-construction risk assessment, Environment of Care, and overall compliance management.

A consultant and regional director with ATG since 2004, he has helped leading national and regional health systems deploy new solutions that make the most of the latest technologies and proven processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

He has an extensive background in heavy-mechanical construction, international municipal pump, and mechanical seal sales.

Joseph E. Mensik – Regional Director, Healthcare

As a healthcare facilities management consultant with a deep understanding of the industry’s regulatory compliance and risk management challenges, Joe works with ATG clients nationwide to apply best practices and technologies to streamline their operations, covering over 50 million square feet of space.

A member of the ATG team since 2005, Joe’s expertise has given clients new perspectives on creating opportunities to enhance compliance and efficiency.

His experience across a wide range of disciplines – real estate, space utilization, compliance, life safety management, document management, and more – assists healthcare executives take full advantage of a more integrated strategic and tactical approach to facilities management.

Michael T. Mostardi, P.E. – Regional Director, Healthcare

Mike has 16 years of healthcare experience and has been with ATG since 2007. Mike is responsible for managing the facility information for over 200 healthcare facilities and 100 million square feet of space.

As a result of his interaction with healthcare organizations across the country and his experience as a licensed mechanical engineer, Mike has a unique skill set that has assisted ATG in continuing to provide solutions to improve the planning, compliance, and management of healthcare campuses.

In his role, Mike manages 50% of the ATG platform. Mike is a consistent performer who develops new client relationships, establishes new services with existing clients, assists with marketing content, and is a visionary for new solution development.
